5. Service terms, payment and recovery
Our services are supplied under separate Service Terms provided at the point of sale. Those terms govern pricing, invoicing, late fees, and recovery. The summary below applies to all customer invoices unless expressly varied in a signed agreement.
Late payment and interest
Invoices are due on the date stated. If not paid when due, we may charge statutory interest on the overdue sum at 8% per year above the Bank of England base rate, accruing daily, together with the fixed late-payment sum under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 and associated Regulations.
Debt collection instruction and costs
If payment remains outstanding, we may instruct a regulated debt collection agency or legal firm to recover the balance. You agree to pay all reasonable costs we incur in recovery, including third-party collection fees and legal or court fees. Where a third-party agency charges a percentage fee, this is commonly around 25% of the outstanding balance plus VAT, which will be added to the amount you owe in addition to interest and fixed late-payment sums.
6. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied terms. We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss. For paid services, our total liability arising in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid to us in that period. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
